Stay positive!

11/04/2019

Let us face it, we are all different and some are more positive and outgoing than others. We may even be very pleased with who we are anyway. Perhaps we do not want to be shining like the sun all the time. But regardless, we usually like people that inspire us and can brighten up the gloomiest day. To be met with a smile instead of the opposite means a lot. And to be honest our health does benefit from positive thinking. "I love being positive" says today's lady. What a wonderful attitude. There are good and bad days in everyone's life, but if we look at it from the bright side, hopefully we can see something positive even when the life is miserable. Enjoy your reading!

You do like to inspire and make others happy. How do you do that and where does this positive attitude come from?

It just comes from something inside of me. There is so much negativity in this world. I love being positive and enjoy spreading it to others. I want to encourage them to do their best and not give up when life gets them down.

You are working with skincare and cosmetics and meet many women that way. Would you say that your attitude is a value even there?

Yes absolutely! I want them to see a positive, happy person that enjoys what she does. I love sharing what I love with others to inspire them and to be the best that they can be. I'll always be there for them to uplift them no matter what the circumstances.

Your upbringing was wonderful you have said, but it was not by your biological parents as you were adopted as a little girl. How has this affected you?

I think it affected me in a positive way. I had the best parents a girl could ask for and a wonderful extended family. I always knew that I was adopted, as early as from when I was only 2 ½ years old. My parents told me they were waiting for a beautiful curly haired little girl to call their own.

I have met some of my biological family and being given up was the best that could have happened to me. My life would not have been what it is now if I had not been adopted. That's all I can say about that and I have accepted my situation.

We cannot help who we are, but we can always try to see things from the bright side and be more grateful for all that we have. Still that is easier said than done; do we tend to think "what if", compare ourselves with others and think that more material stuff would give us the happiness we want you think?

I do agree with that. We always compare ourselves to others. Yes there are things I know now that if I could do it over again I would not. Of course sometimes material things and more financial well being would give you more happiness. Life gets easier if we don't have to struggle too much, but to compete with others or think that only material things are happiness won't make us feel good.

I am going through some tough times right now, but I remain positive that it will all work out. Life is truly wonderful and the best is yet to come!

Would you say that happiness is a choice?

I think that you do have the ability to create real and lasting happiness for yourself. I do know that sometimes life is not always easy and this may be hard for some people to do. You do have the choice whether you let it affect you or not. To me happiness is your best makeup. I think happiness is something you can make and create for yourself - it's all in your mindset.
